Weird Homes Tour – Detroit

In mid-town there sits a space that some have equated to Andy Warhol’s New York Factory.  Most likely, you’ve unknowingly driven by this place where artists and designers mix, mingle and make things happen. This half-time home blongs to legendary car designer and artist Camilo Pardo. As Design Chief, Camilo has spearheaded some of Ford’s most visually stunning cars including. You may be familiar with his famous t 2002 Ford GT40 Concept Car and 2005-2006 Ford GT series designs.

When not at his LA studio, Camilo spends time here designing clothes, cars, and airplanes. He also creates a TON of colorful and dynamic oil paintings depicting cars, racing and much much more. Visit this eclectic and industrious space and check out Camilo’s works in progress. Your head will spin like any one of his four Egg Chairs.
